A little about me

I’m Letizia Tufari (Leti), a highly experienced doula based in Wandsworth, South West London. Before becoming a doula, I spent over a decade working in the corporate world — a career that gave me insight into professionalism, strong standards, and high quality communication.

But it was pregnancy and birth that profoundly changed me. After experiencing three births in three years, I realised how transformative this time is and how deeply women need informed, respectful support. Discovering doulas during my third pregnancy was the turning point that set me on the path I’ve now followed for over 12 years.

I bring together my corporate-honed professionalism with deep, evidence-based knowledge and a calm, empowering presence. I stay continuously up to date with the latest research, ensuring families have reliable, balanced information to guide their decisions. My clients know they can trust me to combine rigour with warmth, always adapting support to their needs.

My Philosophy

I believe in the strength and power of women. Birth is not only a physiological process but also a profound human experience — one that can reveal resilience, courage, and capability. Too often, women describe feeling out of control or pressured during birth. My role is to change that narrative by ensuring you feel:

For me, every birth is an extraordinary miracle — a reminder of women’s power and potential. My goal is simple: to ensure you and your partner feel confident, prepared, and supported from the first contraction through to the early days of parenthood.
